Healing Together: Trauma-Informed Tools for Resilience
Recently, the Resiliency Center hosted a trauma-informed workshop that brought community members together to explore healing, connection, and resilience. Participants engaged in practical strategies such as grounding exercises, reflective journaling, and self-compassion practices, while learning how trauma, grief, and stress can affect the mind and body. Rooted in the core human needs of safety, agency, dignity, and belonging, the workshop created a supportive space for learning, reflection, and shared understanding—reinforcing that healing is both personal and strengthened through community.
